InMath
InMath is a plug-in for InDesign CS and InCopy CS which makes possible real mathematical typesetting with these programs. It is available for Macintosh and Windows.
InMath depicts math equations solely by means of the InDesign CS/InCopy CS text editor; no graphic data are involved. Using the provided InMath templates, users can configure all settings of each mathematical expression and then save them in the document as "InMath Styles" - analogous to the familiar paragraph and character styles. In "Wizard Mode", InMath creates math expressions fully automatically - the user's hands won't even have to leave the keyboard.
InMath Styles can be transferred to other documents with standard techniques: by an InDesign template, by drag-and-drop, copy-and-paste, or using a library.
InMath is fast and does not require any additional "reader" plug-in. Documents containing InMath equations can also be opened and printed out without InMath being present.
InMath is a real alternative to "equation editors" which create equations externally and link them into the InDesign CS-document. For InCopy CS, math typesetting has now become possible with InMath.
