Xtags is a powerful text filter that turns tagged text into finished documents. In database-driven publishing, Xtags lets you build very complex documents using the data-side environment of your choice to produce a tagged text file. The end user simply imports the tagged text to generate the final document — a document with fully styled text content, anchored and unanchored frames sized to their contents, grouped items, applied master pages, etc.

InData — Build Complex Documents From Raw Data
InData works like a bionically enhanced mail merge — it builds complex documents from raw data. Using an English-like scripting language, you define the rules that format your text and graphics. When you’re ready to build your document, InData imports your raw data and formats it at jaw-dropping speeds — up to thousands of pages per hour.

InCatalog — Exchange Content Between Documents and Databases
InCatalog creates bi-directional links between your document and your data source, letting you update either one. You can update any text or graphics — even change versions or languages — immediately. Linked elements can be moved between documents and libraries freely without loss of linkage. And links don’t affect layout or typography.

InFlow — Automatic Page Insertion for InDesign
InFlow eliminates the cumbersome, manual process of adding pages and linking text frames manually by provides automatic page insertion for your InDesign document. InFlow detects overset text as it occurs and creates as many new document pages as needed, linking the current text story to the new pages so text flows automatically. InFlow is bundled with all other Em Software products, and is available as a standalone product.
