Event Details

Scott Citron gave an informative, yet droll, presentation on newsletter creation.

He took us through, step-by-step, how to produce a top-notch newsletter utilizing styles, baseline grids, and tables. He also showed us easy ways to integrate Illustrator files and features into an InDesign document. He created 3D graphs with Illustrator, and then placed them in the newsletter.

Scott also spent time showing us how to create forms with InDesign and exporting them to Acrobat.

Comments from the evaluation sheets

"Excellent topic and presenter. I really learned a lot."

"Good presentation. Lots of surprises and useful tips. I can't get enough demos of using styles."

"Once again, Scott gave us an immediately useful and entertaining program, full of tips and techniques I can use tomorrow."

"Appreciated the tight (okay, obsessive) attention to detail...please keep stressing."

Next Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30. Details to follow. And don't forget, Michael Murphy is returning for an all-day seminar on Monday, April 21st. Topics under consideration include an expanded session on using styles to power up your creativity and productivity; and, GREP—it's so much more than find and replace. Ken Chaletzky Washington, D.C.
