Washington, D.C. InDesign User Group

What a brutal summer!! But I don't have to tell you that. I suspect just about everyone either went without power or had an air conditioning system fail or found a tree limb on their car. But let's put that behind us and plan for a wonderful fall season. We're doing our part.

Our first speaker is HerGeekness, Anne-Marie Concepcion presenting, "Five Overlooked CS5 Features That You Will Love!" Anne-Marie is an internationally known and respected trainer and designer. She is the author or co-author of several books and is a frequent presenter at conferences (see below for special news). We are very fortunate to have her.

Our second presenter is one of our long-time favorites, Mike Witherell of JetSetCom.net and one of EEI Communications most popular instructors. Mike's dry wit and easy manner make even the most complex topics seem easy

Our meeting coincides with InDesign Secrets LIVE! PLUS Beyond Print being held September 14-15 and featuring Anne-Marie. Parking is available at a discount rate after 5:00 pm in the building garage. The entrance is on D Street near 7th. We'll be sure to keep the garage open until 9:30 pm. However, the best way to arrive is via Metro. Just get off at the aptly named Navy Memorial/Archives station. Parking meter enforcement goes until 10:00 pm, so street parking is not recommended.
