Our third meeting of the year brought out 47 people to the Museum of Science and Industry to get a first-hand look at the newly released Adobe InDesign CS3.

Our speaker, Claudia McCue, opened with a quick overview of the various new editions of Creative Suite. She transitioned into the InDesign program by showing how InDesign integrates smoothly with Adobe Photoshop®, Illustrator®, Acrobat®, InCopy®, and Dreamweaver® software. She tied them together with her demonstration of Bridge and some of the new features such as the new preview window that allows you to magnify the picture as you mouse over the photo. Some of the highlights from the meeting included the demonstration of new creative effects and controls, productivity enhancements, table and cell styles, and robust long-document support.

After Claudia took questions from the audience, we ended the night with a large raffle.
