Event Details On Thursday, June 26, 2008, over 60 Tampa Bay IDUG members, 10 AIGA members and 15+ Tampa Bay Graphic Design Meetup members gathered at the International Academy of Design and Technology, to see a presentation by Triesta Hall, Department Chair of Digital Publishing, Digital Arts & Design at Full Sail University. This event was our largest event to date!
Triesta Hall’s multimedia presentation inspired all. “We are here to solve the problem as designers,” said Hall. Her multi-media presentation, The ABCs of Design, touched on why designers design but also on how much control/responsibility we have to sway public opinion. Some of the highlights of the event included her demonstration on product packaging, branding of products, and the basic research behind the products. She also pointed out that we should use our everyday influences in our design. The Print Production tools in Acrobat Professional can help you find common
problems, and repair many of them. In this session, we'll focus on using the
Print Production tools to guarantee successful PDFs for print.
