The Poynter Institute - Barnes Pavillion
Event Details

On Thursday, March 20, 2008, over 55 Tampa Bay IDUG members gathered at the Poynter Institute to see a presentation by Noha Edell. Noha demonstrated how to take your document from design to print without falling into the hidden pitfalls of your favorite Adobe software. Noha began with a brief description of transparency and how our computers interpret it. She also talked about the interaction of Adobe programs with transparency and how to control it in Adobe Acrobat.

Noha also talked about one of newest features, the Adobe PDF Print Engine. You can download and review her slides on transparency at the bottom of this page.

In addition to our meeting, we held a silent auction that raised over $400. Thank you to all who participated! We will conduct another silent auction at our May 29th meeting.
