Position summary: Responsible for the creation of effective print advertising in a deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and produce quality, response-oriented advertising material according to Valpak standards by utilizing industry standard computer hardware and software.
2. Apply knowledge of layout and research based best practice design to create Valpak products.
3. Meet established Valpak production and quality performance standards.
4. Maintain open communication with internal customers; may have occasional contact with external customers.
5. Creates or modifies artwork for layouts according to Valpak guidelines.
6. Responsible for processing digitally delivered artwork and maintaining orderly file management and naming conventions within specified guidelines.
7. Accurately interpret client instructions, apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to the creation of effective advertising.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned or directed.

Temp to Perm Pay Rate: $22.60 hour PLUS mark-up

Utilizes graphic design technology and computer software packages to produce materials for promotions, packaging and informative and instructional materials. Originates art and copy layouts and determines style, size and arrangement of type and illustrations. Works collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
