Meeting details

Monday, June 5th marks the next meeting of the Tampa Bay InDesign User
Group. Featured speakers will be Matt Kloskowski, Education and Curriculum
Developer for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and Sarah
Schweiger of Sarah Schweiger Creative Design Services.

For the first half of the evening Matt will be sharing the ins and outs of
using Photoshop to process, fix, correct, and just plain make your photos
look better. In this presentation we'll look at some ways to fix your photos
as well as some workflow secrets to make you work faster and smarter in
Photoshop.

Following Matt's presentation, Sarah will demonstrate the process of taking
the corrected images from Photoshop and placing them into InDesign. We'll
take a look at sizing, text wrapping and fitting images and text to frames.
Sarah will also share some additional tips and tricks she learned at the
InDesign conference in Chicago.

The event will culminate with another exciting raffle where we'll give away
valuable books, merchandise, and software. If you miss this evening there
won't be another until October, so sign up today.

Come Early if you can: At 6:30 The Art Institute will delight us in a tour
of their facility. A member of the Art Institute's Admission team will lead
the tour. The Art Institute of Tampa offers associate's degree programs in
Culinary Arts, Graphic Design, and Interactive Media Design, and bachelor's
degree programs in Advertising, Game Art & Design, Graphic Design,
Interactive Media Design, Interior Design, and Media Arts & Animation.
