Tampa InDesign User Group Home Meeting Summary Archive

Due to unforseen causes Noha will not be joining us this evening, but instead the Tampa Bay InDesign User Group will be meeting the same night and will be doing a roundtable discussion with a few of the InDesign User Group members demonstrating techniques and real case studies/graphic design examples.

InDesign User Group member, David Rogers, will be demonstrating how Lightroom can be a useful tool to co- ordinate online presentations and portable galleries for photographers AND designers. Using the "back end" modules, Lightroom has the ability to pull together slideshows and presentations on the fly so you can be ready to show your work practically anywhere.

InDesign User Group member, Giovanni Yarabek will demonstrate from beginning to end, including critical thinking about the project, creating a fresh InDesign document, all set up settings, designing the sign (laying out/placing the art) adding text and color.
saving the file in 2 formats and sending to the print shop. He will Also show us the final finished product.

Finally the third speaker of the night, will be yours truly, Sarah Schweiger. Sarah will demonstrate how to take a newsletter or annual report and prepare it for the web by including multimedia elements.
