We decided to try something a little different for our last meeting of 2007 and hosted our very own version of the ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ gameshow.
Eliot Harper hosted the event in true ‘Millionaire’ style, complete with the familiar gameshow interface displayed across projectors. Michael Stoddart also joined us as our guest presenter for the evening, slipping in InDesign-related facts and information after each question.
After a gruelling ‘fastest finger’ round, our first contestant made it through to the hot-seat and climbed halfway up the ladder, working herself through some very challenging InDesign-related questions. After a short break, we held another fastest finger round and started a new game. We ended with several contestants joining the second game, climbing their way up the ladder and loosing their footing along the way. However, one lucky contestant managed to make it all the way to the top, walking away with his very own copy of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium! It was a fun evening and everyone went home with some new InDesign information under their belt.
