Steve Laskevitch, a teacher and production geek for over 2 decades, is the founder of Luminous Works, an Adobe Authorized Training Center in Seattle. He has taught in the Design Department of Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle Central Community College, and the University of Washington Extension. His latest book, Photoshop CS4 Photographer's Handbook, will be published in February 2009.
Heather Ueckert is the Electronic Production Supervisor for Direct Mail and Marketing Collateral at REI. Heather led REI's transition from Quark to InDesign over 6 years ago, and has been a key contributor in developing their Print workflows and ongoing process improvement. Passionate about the creative process from concept through execution, Heather is also a published quilt designer.
