This meeting was held, again, at the San Francisco State University, Downtown Center. We had one of the largest meetings yet, with almost 60 people eager to learn about InDesign®. And learn they did!
This time the format included two independent sessions geared to specific capabilities of InDesign. The first part was all about how to set up master pages, presented by Peter Truskier of Premedia Systems. The second part was on paragraph styles, character styles and nested styles, by Steve Holmes of Total Training and Outlaw.
After the presentation, lots of great questions were answered by Steve Holmes and a new member, Patti Sokol, of Sokol Consulting. Patti also does training on all of the Adobe applications too.
Our raffle was a great success, again, with a number of books donated by Adobe Press, Peachpit Press, and Wiley Publishing. We also gave away some Adobe software. We had some very pleased winners to be sure.
Best regards,
Mark Atchley
Chapter Representative
