ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
...............................
DAVID CLAR has been a leader in the digital printing arena ever since his company adopted the technology in 2000. As one of the first companies in upstate New York to fully embrace HP Indigo technology, David is a self-described “Digital Print Evangelist."

Over a year ago, David took over ownership of Express Press, a second-generation family-operated printing company, and immediately started taking the company in new directions. With a strong focus on small-format offset printing and digital print solutions, Express Press has continued to grow into a one-stop solution for its customers. From print production to database management to mailing, Express Press has the capability to take a job from creation to completion.

David is a member of several professional printing organizations, including PODi (Print on Demand Initiative), the Digital Printing Council, and PIA/GATF (Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation). He is also an active member of the HP Indigo users group, DICE (Digital Imaging Customer Exchange), and DSCOOP (Digital Solutions Cooperative).

David spends his free time with his wife Rachel, and is involved with several not-for-profit agencies including the Ad Council of Rochester. He is the immediate past president of The Ohio State University Alumni Association and sits on the Board of Directors with the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester and Hillel of Rochester Area Colleges. Any leftover free time is enjoyed boating on Lake Ontario.

David’s professional passion is helping people understand the capabilities of digital printing and proving through action how a personalized, one-to-one marketing campaign can increase any size company’s return on investment.
