Reno InDesign User Group

Our next Reno InDesign User Group meeting will be on Thursday, April 2nd. Once again, the good folks at the The Glenn Group will be hosting our meeting. As before, early arrivals will be treated to a guided tour of one of the "Best Green Buildings" according to the Reno News & Review readers’ poll. Check out their website at www.theglenngroup.com to view some of their work and a few pics of the building. Our main topic this meeting will be Flawless PDF Creation. Alfred Anheier, Prepress Manager at DynaGraphic Printing, will detail best-practice Creative Suite PDF procedures. He will explain settings in the dialog boxes, what they mean, how to use them, and how to create your own presets for different types of output from Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. In our Leveraging Your Layouts (Part 2) segment, Jim Cooper (your chairperson) from Apsiva will suggest several ways to enhance conventional InDesign documents to create practical, but powerful interactive PDFs.
