Event DetailsOur February 23rd meeting was held at the Rita Laden Senate Chambers in The Joe Crowley Student Union at UNR. Our chairperson (Jim Cooper from Apsiva) revealed some of his latest tricks for using the InDesign Data Merge feature to bring marketing info and photo archives to life. In this updated technique demo, he showed how we can place fully-functional interactive PDF elements (including photo "pop-outs") using only the native InDesign application.
We saw several how-to’s on building powerful Style definitions that will allow us to use our InDesign layout as a virtual portal to all publication channels. The "InDesign Mojo, Part I" meeting title proved appropriate.
All raffle proceeds are on their way to the Bring Bri Justice foundation.
