We are pleased to announce the first 2008 meeting of the Puerto Rico InDesign User Group (IDUG), on January 31st. This chapter of the fast-growing IDUG will meet at Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe, in el Viejo San Juan, with a conference titled: Cross-publishing with Interactive PDFs. The Center is located at Calle Cristo #55, Viejo San Juan, with sign-in starting at 6:00 P.M. Entrance will be FREE of charge. Seating is limited, so arrive early.

The Main Feature
PDFs are seen as a gateway from Print to electronic. Learn how to create an interactive PDF right within InDesign's powerful multimedia features. We will discuss the following topics:

* Accessing InDesign’s Interactive Features
* Hyperlinks
* Rollovers
* Bookmarks
* Navigation
* Adding Movies and Flash Animations
* Adding Sound
* Exporting the PDF

Some of the Acrobat 8 Pro features that will also be discussed are:
* Acrobat Initial View
* Acrobat Transitions
* PDF Package

In the second part of our meeting we will show how to monetize on your PDF Content for electronic distribution using Adobe's latest technology. If you produce publications of any length, this is an event you can’t afford to miss.
