Instead of the usual speaker/break/speaker format, the evening broke from tradition to venture down a path known as "InDesign Survivor: Return to Butterfly Island." Hosted by Lisa Forrester, a group of brave souls volunteered to expose their InDesign knowledge.

The format was simple. Lisa asked an InDesign question. If the panelist couldn't answer the question, he or she was eliminated from the island. The only way to stay was if the next panelist also missed the answer. Along the way, the show gave Lisa an occasional chance to demonstrate the principle or feature in question. At the end of the evening only one panelist survived.

We hope to have the Survivor game return next season. Thanks again to those who volunteered to play the game, and thanks to the rest of those in attendance for being such an enthusiastic audience. We also want to thank Patty and Luana for the great job they do getting food for us and to everyone who helped clean up.
