February's meeting was a great start for the new year! We had a great showing of over 40 people who came to learn more about InDesign® and share a great time together. The evening began with our chapter representative, Gabriel Powell, introducing our new meeting location, at the hip Urban Grind coffee house. He also made the exciting announcement that we'll be meeting every second Wednesday of each month from now on.

After Gabriel's opening announcements, Adobe's own Terry White, author of InDesign CS Killer Tips, presented a night of killer tips and little-known InDesign techniques. He also showed us around the new Adobe Acrobat® 7.0.

For a detailed PDF of all those great InDesign tips, visit the Tips & Techniques section of this website.

For those of you who have topics you’d like to see presented or questions for the next meeting, please contact the chapter representative.

Thanks to Adobe, Adobe Press, Total Training, StockLayouts, and Kitchen Wisdom, people walked away with some great software, books, and training resources. That brand-new copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 was snapped up quickly.

Thanks to Suzan, Richard, Gary, Shirley, Peggy, and others who volunteered to help out with the meeting. This help is really important in making the meeting easier to run and organize. We also thank Urban Grind for the great facility, food, and coffee. We’re really lucky to have such a great meeting location! Anyone interested in helping out with the meeting, or anyone with an idea for a future topic, send an email to our chapter representative.
