June 9 marked the inaugural meeting for InDesign® users all over the Portland area. Twenty-three people arrived eager to meet each other, win some prizes, and take some useful knowledge home with them. We discussed the purpose of the user group, Mark Neiman Ross from Adobe talked about plug-ins that are available for InDesign, and Pamela Pfiffner, Editor-in-Chief at creativepro.com, discussed the new launch of InDesign Magazine. And then Gabriel Powell presented a couple of new InDesign CS features.

Gabriel Powell introduced a couple of new InDesign CS features, such as new document presets, separation preview, and saving workspaces.

People walked away with some great books, training resources, and some wonderful software.
