PSU Market Square Building, Room 1053
Event DetailsWe had a nice informal Q&A session. Paul Erdman opened the meeting up to questions from the audience, then gave his answers for the questions before opening them up for general discussion. It was a great opportunity to review a number of popular topics that have been covered in past meetings but are still relevant and of interest to our members. It was also interesting to learn from the other members of the group as they shared their knowledge. It was such a success that we'll probably have 1-2 Q&A sessions per year in the future.
Some of the topics we discussed included:
-Using InCopy vs. other workflows with designers and multiple authors
-Troubleshooting printing errors
-Interactive features such as bookmarks and buttons
-Advanced typography features such as Keep options, hyphenation, and justification settings
Thanks to PSU for the room, Adobe and Markzware for the prizes, and all our members for your attendance and support.
Paul knows of a company looking for an InDesign production worker to build ads using a predesigned template. Candidate must be skilled in the used of InDesign and knowledgeable in the application of styles and placement of text and images. If you're interested, please contact him at info@creativeprogression.com.
It will be in January, but I haven't heard back from PSU about the specific date yet, so stay tuned.
