Meeting Summary: InDesign CS5 show-and-tell

Event Details

Our InDesign CS5 launch meeting, held at the end of June, scored our highest attendance yet. Perth's InDesign user group is growing and after almost 2 years I'm proud to announce our membership has hit 300!

During our last meeting Cari Jansen (www.carijansen.com), took us on a whirlwind tour of new features in InDesign CS5... from major new interactive features, such as building your own motion paths, to the many tiny improvements in the application, such as the ability to rotate an object with the Selection tool, that just make working in InDesign so much faster, better, more accurate and easier once again.

Although it is unlikely that every single new feature was covered during the presentation... a grand total of 34 new features were showcased on the night. (Thank you Michelle for keeping track, and reporting the total on your meeting evaluation sheet!)
