Event Details CS4!! It’s here and it’s fantastic!
The Ottawa InDesign User Group (IDUG) welcomed all creative professionals to a free and riveting industry gathering.
On September 29th, we welcomed back Adobe's Sebastian Distefano, who treated us to his vast InDesign knowledge once again.
This meeting covered an introduction to the new features in the recently released Adobe InDesign CS4. Those who were just getting started and those that were already knowledgeable about InDesign all left with their heads filled with amazing productivity tips and design ideas.
Here are some of the top new features in InDesign CS4 that were covered:
• Customizable Links panel
• Conditional text
• Cross-references
• Interactive document design with SWF file export
• Page transitions in SWF and PDF files
• XFL format for export to Flash
• Smart Guides and Smart Spacing
• Spread rotation
