Orlando InDesign User Group

Meeting Notes Archive

January 24, 2006

Orlando graphics professionals got the new year off to a good start by attending the first InDesign® meeting for 2006. If this meeting is typical, this year will be overflowing with instruction in Adobe’s CS2 components and the continued improvement in the skills of those attending.

The user group always has plenty of food downstairs, in case those attending were not able to get dinner beforehand. After signing in and getting a couple of bites, attendees took seats upstairs at the Downtown Media Arts Center (DMAC) for the two-hour meeting.

Scott Johnson, of EuroPrint-EuroGrafix on Douglas Avenue in Altamonte Springs, spoke of how to obtain reliable press output from Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Distiller® and find out how to greatly improve efficiency, workflow, and bottom line by creating a seamless PDF workflow.
