On November 19 at our new location The Winter Park Civic Center get ready to go deeper with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Creative Suite 4 with Haziel Olivera, Adobe Certified expert, trainer with the Orlando office of Aquent Graphics Institute, will be returned to show us InDesign CS4 in more detail.

Be among the first to learn new features:
• Pages panel, Master pages. Convert to object/button.
• Smart guides rock!
• Normal, rollover, and click state. Automatic.
• Much improved hyperlinks/Cross-Ref. panel.
• Page transitions. Page turn (SWF Only).
• Export to SWF
• Lots of smart stuff -- smart spacing, align, rotating.
• Links panel now has thumbnails. You can now open/edit with from the Links panel. Group every instance of an image in the Links panel. Shows the page where the image is linked. Takes you to the object and resized to fit image to window.
• Link info give iptc and lots of info. You can show in panel as well.
• Rotating spread
• You can edit tables in story editor. and ad notes.
• Cross-ref. Wow. Remember how you felt about nested styles and then Grep? Now there is cross reference. Synchronized text.
• Conditional tags.
• Multi-channel publishing.
• Live Preflight -- completely customizable to match the things you want to have flagged. Like “non-proportional scaling”. It will indicate as you create the file. No longer do you wait for the end. These can be embedded in the file.

These are just a few of the topics to be covered. There will also be a time for Creative Suite CS3 Q/A.

While it's all about graphics, many related applications are covered in a wide-ranging, freeform interchange among members. Our InDesign User Group is a Special Interest Group of FLMUG. CS3 and CS4 work on both Windows and Mac systems. Bring your laptops as our meetings have WiFi.
