New York City InDesign User Group

I'm excited to announce the first 2009 meeting of the new NY InDesign Users Group. Not only have we expanded the scope of the group to cover all Creative Suite components, but we also have a new, state-of-the-art venue for such meetings. Thanks to Adobe and the prestigious School of Visual Arts, all meetings will be held in the newly renovated SVA Theater at 333 West 23rd Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues in Manhattan. The theme for this landmark meeting will be "Working Smart with the Creative Suite." Conceptualized by our own Sandee Cohen, she and I will take a multi-page document and demonstrate how, by leveraging the many "smart" features in Adobe Creative Suite, users can leave themselves options for creative change or inspiration to produce their best work. Although this presentation will focus on Adobe Creative Suite 4, most of the techniques we'll demonstrate can be reproduced in earlier versions of the Suite.
