Event Details On a beautiful Wednesday evening—the exact day that Acrobat 9 began shipping—95 InDesign users had an opportunity to learn about this brand-new product from none other than Noha Edell, Business Development Manager for Creative Pro products at Adobe.
Noha only had time to cover some of the new features of Acrobat in her 1.5 hour presentation. She focused on the greatly improved Web capture and OCR features, the new forms workflow with Acrobat.com, collaboration features with Acrobat.com, the new PDF Portfolios feature, as well as a few printing and prepress related features.
Keith Gilbert, a local training consultant (gilbertconsulting.com), did a brief tutorial on how to create hover "tooltips" entirely in InDesign that display in Acrobat. In demonstrating this technique, Keith also touched on InDesign's Story Editor, anchored objects, and a cool find/change tip.
