Milwaukee InDesign User GroupMeeting Notes Archive
June 16, 2005
Dave Henderleider, Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign® CS and trainer for C2GPS in Milwaukee, showed us all how to make an interactive InDesign document. After automatically building a table of contents in InDesign, he saved as a PDF in a format that supports the interactive features. This created a PDF with a clickable directory that allows you to navigate through the document. Click on the TOC and be taken to the listed item immediately! There was a demo on the new ability to set-up a round-trip markup and correction cycle with Acrobat® 7 (even if the others in your workgroup have only the free Acrobat Reader). Other interactive elements, like running a movie within a PDF, were also shown.
