Leopard Launch Event and IDUG “Double Feature” Hello, Milwaukee IDUG members! The November 6 meeting has changed location. It will still be on the WCTC campus, but will be held in the new Institute for Graphics and Imaging building, adjacent to the Harry V. Quadracci Printing and Graphics Center. As you may be aware, Apple released MacOSX 10.5 (Leopard) on Friday, October 26th. Sells Printing, C2 Graphics Productivity Solutions, and GHA Technologies invite you to attend a free presentation on MacOS X 10.5 Leopard on Tuesday, November 6th from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. before our regularly-scheduled IDUG meeting. New features in Leopard will be presented, including the new Dock, iTunes-like Finder, Spaces, Safari 3, the updated Mail application, Time Machine backup, and Boot Camp. Upgrading, proactive preparation, the different strategies for installation and deployment, and post-installation troubleshooting will also be discussed. Your Leopard Tour Guide will be Robert Hammen, Senior Systems Engineer for Sells Printing Company (http://www.sells.com ). Robert is an Apple Certified Systems Administrator and has been working with pre-release versions of Leopard since early this year/attended several Leopard presentations at Apple’s WorldWide Developer’s Conference in June of this year. James Wamser, Adobe Certified Instructor for Sells Printing Company, will discuss Leopard compatibility with the Adobe Creative Suite 3. James Fritz, Adobe Certified Instructor for C2 (http://www.c2gps.com), and David Mohr, Technical Sales Manager for GHA Technologies ( http://www.gha-associates.com) will be in attendance.
