I'm excited to go and attempt web design!
Richard T Anderson Center, Waukesha County Technical College
Event DetailsWe had a great meeting on January 26 with James Conway presenting The Web Design Process for Print Designers. About 150 people, including the Madison IDUG, the Adobe Users Group and students, squeezed into the Richard T. Anderson Center at WCTC, and enjoyed James' perspective and expertise. The experience level of the attendees ranged from print designers with no web experience to those who describe themselves as experts in web design. James was able to bridge the learning gap and provide a wealth of information for everyone. You can download his handout at the bottom of this page.
It was a great event with fun door prizes. Thanks for coming out on a dark, winter evening, especially those of you who traveled from Madison and Illinois! You are always welcome here!
Thankfully, the blizzard of the century was THIS week, not last week. Hopefully, we'll all be dug out in time to watch the Packers on Sunday.
GO PACK!!!
Thank you to Waukesha County Technical College, C2 Graphics Productivity Solutions, Cengage Learning, James Conway, James Fritz, James Wamser and all the students from WCTC who assisted during registration.
I really enjoyed it. I learned a few things—will be back!
Nice topic for me. It was a great introduction!
This was absolutely wonderful! It really put web design into basic terms for me as a designer and I'm excited to go and attempt web design. Thank you so much!
Amazing experience—learned plenty of valuable info. Hope to attend another meeting in the future.
Mr. Conway was a great speaker. He made the topic fun, explained it well without dumbing it down or talking over people's heads.
