Event DetailsWe had a very well-attended meeting with everyone eager to learn about GridIron Flow and also XML.
GridFlow Flow
The meeting started with Dave Gillespie, Director of Creative Development at Gridiron Software, demonstrating the revolutionary Workflow Visualization product Flow. His presentation was very interactive with people learning how Flow could help them without changing their current workflow. Dave did a great job showing all the powerful features that Flow offers, compressing his demo into about an hour. He also gave everyone who attended a FREE copy of Flow.
XML
Our second presenter was Jim Maivald, author of "A Designer's Guide to Adobe InDesign and XML". Jim did a fantastic job of explaining the benefits of XML and why you should care about learning more about it. He went through some really great examples showing how XML simplifies the process of moving content in and out of your layouts and can speed up any print or Web assignment. We also gave away several books that both Jim and Cathy Palmer signed.
