It's good to know that we finally have a group like this here in the Philippines, we've been waiting for this for a long time.

Thank you to all the members who were able to attend the 1st meeting of the Manila InDesign User Group.
On October 13th 2009, more than 30 people gathered for a truly eventful and enlightening evening.
Bruce Persaud, the User Group Chapter Representative, kicked of the meeting by explaining the purpose and benefits of the User Group and how anyone is welcome to contribute either as a speaker, volunteer or sponsor.
Following that, Malaysian speaker Mr Loo Leong Wee, founder of InDesignconsultants.com, gave an introduction on how he first started using InDesign, followed by various tips and tricks for creating professional Newspaper and Magazine templates.
During the break, the members had a chance to mingle and get acquainted with one another. After a few more tricks and some InDesign challenges thrown at the audience, Mr Jude Trinidad was the lucky winner of our InDesign CS4 raffle.
