It was the biggest audience ever!

90 strong IDUG Manila members flocked at the Training Hall of ELJCC Building of the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. in Diliman, Quezon City.

The 6th InDesign Usergroup Manila Chapter Meeting was a success!

Heading the pool of speakers was Jesus Vicente, creative director of CreActive Media Services, who talked about magazine designs and the future of publishing with some presentations of magazines for the Ipad.

Ms. Michaelle Torres, Editor-in-chief of Metro Magazine, graced the occasion and shared some insights about Metro magazine's plans and projects about their print and Ipad version.

Andrei Cui, head of creatives of ABS-CBN, explained about advertorials and their plans for the future of publishing. Last but not the least is Mr. Gilbert R. Victoria, Art Director from Creactive Media Services and College instructor of Bulacan State University College of Architecture and Fine Arts, who talked about some technical stuff like InDesign data Merge and some tips on how to slim down the file size of an InDesign document.

The members were treated with food and refreshments courtesy of ABS-CBN.

The highlight of the event was the raffle of exciting prizes. Copies of Metro Magazine were raffled off for the members as minor prizes. For the major prizes, One Markzware software item of the winner's choosing was given away. 2 winners of a one-year free subscription to InDesign Magazine and the Grand Prize of Adobe InDesign CS5 software worth Php35,000.00.
