Meeting Summary: The Best of Creative Suite 4!

The IDUG met at Herzing College on Madison's East Side, hosted by the School of Design graphics program.

Chapter Representative Cathy Palmer demonstrated Creative Suite 4 new features across several of the new Adobe applications, including Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4. Guest presenters from Milwaukee were able to demonstrate some of the cool new features of CS4. James Wamser of Sells Printing showed Live Preflight in InDesign, and suggested several "best practices" to ensure successful output. Then, James Fritz of C2GPS transitioned from InDesign into Acrobat and Flash by showing new ways to create interactive PDFs, and exporting into SWF format to get Flash-ready components from InDesign.

There were LOTS of giveaways for all who attended, as well as raffle prizes.
