Maribeth Fleischmann

Maribeth has been working in the print-publishing industry for over 17 years. As an Art Director, she has produced many magazines, books and calendars for a well-known mid-western publisher. A few years ago, she sought to challenge herself by becoming both a freelance graphic designer and instructor—creating all manner of print media while turning out knowledgeable young designers. She has worked with many Milwaukee based companies such as Reader’s Digest, Columbia-St. Mary’s, C2 gps, and Northwestern Mutual. Maribeth is an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) who has taught at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Madison College and Madison Media Institute. She recently moved to Madison where she is quietly rebuilding her “empire.”

Cathy Palmer

Cathy Palmer is a technology trainer and an award-winning graphic designer who has worked in both the creative and production sides of publishing. She has been a contributing author and technical editor for several Creative Suite instructional books, as well as writing magazine and online articles about digital design topics. Cathy currently provides digital media skills training classes and seminars, teaching designers how to build smarter layouts and leverage the technology so they can focus on the creative stuff.
