Event DetailsOur October meeting was held at the world-famous Art Center College of Design, in the Los Angeles Times Media Center, way up in the mountains of Pasadena. What an awesome venue!
At this event, Lisa (Forrester) Niday once again did a most superb job of presenting Photoshop CS3 Extended and Illustrator CS3. Not only did she demonstrate how your personal creativity can be unleashed with the combination of the tools. Lisa also gave some real world examples. The Question and Answer session delved into some excellent discussions and multiple solutions to complex techniques for some uniquely creative concepts.
The facility is great, the food and presentation fed us all quite well. For this special occasion we auctioned CS3 Design Standard. Additionally, we had excellent support from members and vendors who provided tools and software from their respective lines of products.
We continue to look for venues to hold our meetings and any other events throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. The facility would need to hold 30-50 members, and have inexpensive or free parking. We would like to be able to cater our own food when possible. If you know of any company that is willing to sponsor or provide a room, please have them contact us. Any and all support is continually needed and very much appreciated.
