Event DetailsI would like to thank all the members who came to the meeting, for all their interaction and valid input. It was nice to see the regular faces again, and to all the new members, welcome!
Congratulations to Eloise de Bruyn for winning a copy of InDesign CS4, and to Janice Lewis and Bishen Gosai, who won T-shirts.
Topics for future meetings were requested; those raised will be incorporated in future sessions.
At the meeting, members mentioned they are not able to interact with each other via the InDesign User Group website. Carla was in contact with the relevant parties in the US and was informed that this site currently cannot facilitate those needs, so a user Group on Facebook and Twitter was suggested.
Carla is meeting with a local book distributor to see what they can offer the members in terms of benefits. It was suggested that we build a library where members can loan books on a check in, check out system.
