Event Details

A big thank you to those who attended our very first meeting. It was fantastic to finally meet all of you, especially those who traveled all the way from Durban it was a pleasure having you with us. For those of you who were unable to join us I'm looking forward to meeting you at the next meeting.

All the members seemed as excited as I am to finally have a user group in South Africa and are looking forward to future meetings.

The members who did attend all agreed that the proposed meeting time of 18h00 to 20h00 was a good time for future meetings.

Indesign features covered during the meeting included:

• Indesign scripts found on the additional resources CD in the their box set including those available for CS2 (align to page, add guides, split story, etc) and a few others that were downloaded from Adobe Exchange.
• Advanced Find/Change options with brief introduction to GREP
• Quick apply (including script search)
• Fixing of double font size shown in character panel
• Other general troubleshoot questions
• Quickly create spreads
• Some tips and tricks
