Indianapolis InDesign User Group

Indy’s own InDesign User Group, in partnership with Quality Printing and with support from AIGA Indianapolis, is hosting a day-long conference Tuesday, September 29th. Keynote speaker in the morning is Derek Smith, leading advocate for green energy, carbon emissions, and sustainability issues in design. As a leading consultant of paper and print procurement issues, Derek works closely with both the Sustainable Forestry Initiative and the Forest Stewardship Council. In the afternoon, four learning tracks will be available to attendees: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. Three 45-minute sessions will be offered in each track. Attendees can choose which sessions they’d like to attend and move between tracks throughout the afternoon. Noha Edell, Adobe Systems, will be a featured learning track presenter. Following up on last spring's hit seminar on books and long documents, Noha will be presenting everything you need to know to make your life easier and your long-document projects better.
