Event DetailsSixty members attended the meeting on May 25 to hear Tom Petrillo from Adobe Systems tell us about the new features in Creative Suite 5. After sandwiches and a little socializing, everyone was ready to see what all the excitement has been about.
Tom did not disappoint us and the comments ranged from "Awesome" to "The features Tom talked about in CS5 will really be beneficial to my work."
Two members won a one year subscription to InDesign Magazine, one member received one year of free training from Total Training, and one lucky member won Adobe Creative Suite CS5 Premium. Wiley Publishing provided several books for door prizes.

A message from our friend Cate Indianao: Attention Indy IDUG members: I have a client looking for an InDesign freelance production designer who could come into their company for 6-8 months (starting end of June) to help fill a workload spike and a planned maternity leave. The freelancer would be trained by the staffer taking maternity leave and work with her until her maternity leave starts in early September. They would then be responsible for delivering a set of InDesign deliverables through the end of the year. Flexible with working hours...but looking for 35+ hours per week.
