Meeting Summary: Leveraging Your Layouts

Almost 60 members gathered on April 20 to learn how to leverage their layouts from Jim Cooper, Apsiva VP of Publishing Solutions.

Jim demonstrated how styling and layout can work well when applied correctly for both single-page and extremely long documents. We learned how to build a table of contents. Jim showed us how to infuse our PDF documents with color and interactive elements.

InDesign Data Merge is an economic tool to re-package photo archives and publish at virtually no cost using Adobe PDF. Jim show us how to create interactive real-estate buttons, yearbook pages, and company directory completed with hyperlinked contact information and "popout" photos.
