We’ve got a little something for everyone in our next meeting of October 4. Please note that we will be at a different location with meeting space donated by the International Academy of Design and Technology in Troy.

With all the paper options available, how do you choose? Creating the right visual feel of any project is important but keeping within a budget many times is also a priority. Diane Winters from Millcraft Paper Company will present Paper 101: an overview of paper production and selecting the right paper for any job.

After our break we’ll turn our attention to digital publishing. WoodWing Digital Magazine Tools for iPad enables publishers to easily create beautifully-designed and compelling content for the iPad. Shawn Duffy, Managing Director WoodWing USA, will demonstrate WoodWing's Enterprise Digital Magazine solution and share WoodWing's experiences helping publishers like Time Magazine, Sports Illustrated and Fortune Magazine publish to the iPad.
