Detroit InDesign User Group

Many of you let us know in our meeting surveys that you liked the design challenge concept. So get you're creative juices flowing because here is another chance to flex your design skill muscles.

Because of the launch of CS3 and the new identity, we have extended the deadline to submit files. Please be aware that the artwork that needs to be incorporated has now changed. The butterfly is no longer being used as the InDesign branding.

Challenge:

Create a two-sided, 8.5 x 11 layout and design for our very own Detroit InDesign User Group newsletter. The goal is that a newsletter would be produced as a screen PDF and posted on the User Group Web site for download in the months we don't hold a meeting. The winner will not be responsible for newsletter production. This is an optional project for Detroit InDesign User Group members. Have fun and enjoy the challenge!

Submission:

Deadline to submit a screen PDF (all that is required by this date) has been extended to May 4. All packaged files are to be submitted 1) by email on May 4 or 2) mailed with a postmark of May 4.

Prize:

Final judging will be by popular vote from members who attend the September meeting (date and time TBA) where the winner will be announced and receive InDesign CS3, courtesy of Adobe.
