We had a record turnout for our August 7th meeting in Meredith’s Conference Core, with 63 people in attendance. There were members of varying experience levels at the meeting, eager to find some tricks to help make theirs jobs easier.
Our presentation for the night was Tips and Tricks, presented by Mike Richman, Senior Systems Engineer for Adobe. Mike showed us several tips within InDesign CS3, such as how the new Find/Change works within InDesign CS3, repeating nesting styles, and how to trash your preferences to keep InDesign running smoothly. That was just breaking the ice of what’s in InDesign. With so many shortcuts, we will have to continue having meetings on the hundreds of shortcuts that are available.
