WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?

Join us for the InDesign User Group’s very own version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Potential contestants will be chosen at random at the beginning of the meeting and will compete in fastest finger rounds to determine who will make it to the hot-seat for their chance to win some great prizes.

All the questions will be InDesign related so be ready to test your InDesign knowledge and to learn some new tips, tricks and InDesign features.

You won’t want to miss this fun, interactive and informative game show.

SHOW AND TELL
After Who Wants to be a Millionaire, you’ll be able to see some great designs, all built in InDesign. This particular topic has been regularly request and we’re listening! Get ready to view some inspirational work. Also, we’d like to show work from the user group’s members. LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS
One of our main goals for 2008 is to have 50+ in attendance at our meetings. Let's show the country that Denver is full of creative people who enjoy getting together and discussing topics we're passionate about, like InDesign. If you get excited talking about what makes InDesign such a valuable tool in your creative professional's toolbox...chances are you know other people that are the same way.

Let's all figure out who in our circle of friends, associates, co-workers, etc. would enjoy coming to an IDUG meeting and get the word out to those people! Our group is only going to grow through the efforts of each and every one of our members, so "Spread the word"! If you bring a friend to the next meeting, you'll receive $5 Auction Bucks to use toward any auction item. If you don't know how to ask someone to attend, just use the Invite a Friend link under the meeting details.

The first meeting we have 50+ in attendance, we will be giving away via raffle the entire Creative Suite for free! So...bring a friend...what are you waiting for?

AUCTION ITEMS
Our auctions continue to be a fun way to raise money for our group. The proceeds from the auctions pay for the venue, the food, and any other items that are needed to be of benefit to the group. The group is wholly user-supported and we can't thank our members enough for the support that you've shown.

This month, we will be posting our auction items ahead of the meeting so you'll have a chance to check them out and know what's on offer. We will be posting them on our forums here: http://www.idugdenver.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85. Check back often, as we'll continually add to the list as we bring in new items. Remember, if there's something you'd like to see us auction off, please let us know. A few suggestions have been made and we're looking into getting those items now.

ROOM REMINDER
"Musical Rooms" continues next month as we actually move into our new "permanent" room for the remainder of 2007. We will be meeting in the Snowy Peaks room. This room if off the main entrance hall, just to the left before the restrooms. We will have signage up to make it easier, as well.

AFTER-MEETING GET-TOGETHER
Don't forget: We will be meeting after the regular meeting at our sponsor's location, The Exchange Tavern. We can continue discussing great design, looking at portfolios, and continue to network and getting to know each other. Please join us after the meeting!
