ePub Seminar
Before I get into the "meat" of the wrap-up, I just want to mention a seminar that a lot of members have shown interest in: The MOGO Media InDesign to ePub Seminar. Well, it's official: I'm bringing the seminar to Boulder on July 14th! If you've been thinking about getting into creating ePubs, and especially if you're already laying everything out in InDesign for print, this seminar is for you! Meeting Wrap-Up
At our June 7th meeting, Barb Binder of Rocky Mountain Training gave us some great insight into using Table and Cell Styles. She even slipped in references to Character and Paragraph Styles. She showed us how to nest these styles within each other to create a cascade of style changes. Barb created a paragraph style with a nested character style. Then, she built a cell style using that paragraph style and she brought it all together by building a table style that consisted of her carefully-designed cell styles. Talk about automation!

The second half of the meeting was Yours Truly talking about InDesign CS5.5 and Adobe's new 2-year and "1/2 version" release cycle. I showed off many of the new ePub-centric features in CS5.5. Also, we all oohed and ahhed over the new – and extremely effortless – way to create Anchored Objects.
