"Who brought the Acrobat?"
The Dallas chapter kicked off its inaugural meeting with a preview of Acrobat® 8. Fresh off the InDesign Inside Out tour, Lisa Forrester did a wonderful job of presenting the features with Adobe's latest product release. There wasn't enough time to detail every single feature, but Lisa gave a great overview of some of the exciting things possible with Acrobat 8. Highlights from the presentation included how to handle forms, creating PDF packages, and the new Acrobat Connect for web conferencing.

After the presentation the group discussed possible topics for our next meeting and we held a Q&A session with members. The current format will run every other month and it was suggested to have tutorials in addition to presentations. As your chapter leader, I am hoping we will have an opportunity to showcase local businesses using InDesign.

Now is the right time to sign up as a member of the Dallas chapter. Join our community and help us to develop our talents in DFW metro.
