Cleveland InDesign User GroupMeeting Summary
The best meeting I've been to yet. Chuck Wilson Creating Interactive Content from InDesign CS4 Tue, Jan 27th, 2009 at 6:00 PM Cleveland Institute of Art, Gund Building
Event Details On Tuesday, January 27th, almost 50 people gathered at the Cleveland Institute of Art to get a first-hand look at creating Interactive Content from InDesign CS4.
April Clark, Co-Chapter Representative, showed how to add buttons, hyperlinks, and page transitions to an InDesign page, and then export to either PDF or SWF.
She also showed a small bit of Adobe Flash CS4 while explaining the new file format (XFL) that allows InDesign files to open directly into Flash.
One web site that shows off a magazine using the cool new page turn effect can be found here: http://www.astronomy.com
Members enjoyed Valentino's pizza and we raffled off a full version of Creative Suite 3 Design Premium as well as a version of Adobe InDesign CS3.
