January 29, 2008
January 29 marked the inaugural meeting of the Central New Jersey InDesign User Group. The event was titled “New Year, New User Group, New Features for CS3,” and was held at the Chubb Institute in North Brunswick. After a quick meet-and-greet and a little pizza to soothe the hunger pains, the meeting began.
Yours truly demonstrated many of the powerful features CS3 offers, such as Multi-Place, Frame Fitting Options, Table and Cell Styles, and Variables. Also covered were the much-needed enhancements to the Type and Selection Tools and the Control, Pages, Align, Text Wrap, and Character and Paragraph Style panels. 25 members braved the rainy night to attend.
