Event Details This week's User Group meeting was very informative.
We started of the meeting with a little Q&A. I have to say this is what makes the IDUG really powerful. We really encourage the swapping of info and tips.
We had two powerhouse presenters. The first was Jeff Witchel (the "Tips & Tricks Guy") from Layers magazine. He showed us some great time-saving techniques. He presented for about 45 minutes and could have gone on for days. Yeah, this guy has culminated an incredible library of InDesign and Illustrator tips. Check him out.
Our next presenter was Adobe's own Noha Edell. She dazzled us with Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. If you thought Acrobat 8 was something, wait until you get your hands on Acrobat 9. Enhanced Combine and PDF From Web features just scratched the surface. We talked about the new Acrobat.com as a FREE ftp service.
We raffled off Acrobat 9 Pro along with some other great items. Thank You• Thank you to Jeff Witchel for his invaluable, informative presentation.

The one we have been anticipating... the Launch of CS4 at the Crowne Plaza Edison in NJ. This will be one for the books. It is an all day event, covering the print, web and some video upgrades.
